ABOUT TAGGIT
Taggit (Pty) Ltd is a Durban-based South African company that customizes asset identification systems for the local market. Our main shareholder is DataDot Technology (Pty) Ltd, which supplies Taggit with its well-known microdot asset identification system and runs the national database associated with it.
DataDot Technology SA is a BBBEE Level 3 Contributor (on the QSE Scorecard) and owns a 66.67% share in Taggit, with Durban management making up the balance of the shareholding.
Our mission is to procure, market and sell high quality, innovative products and provide excellent service to our customers in the private sector as well as the motor and related industries.
With this goal in mind, we expanded our product range to include Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) asset management and tracking technology, and Electronic Article Surveillance (EAS) systems for the retail industry.
